Mount Rainier
on the ferry to Bainbridge Island Heather at the beach

As you may have heard if you read Heather's Picture of the Moment, we went out to Olympic National Park for Thanksgiving. After a quick ferry ride, on a beautiful day, with views of Mount Rainier and the Seattle skyline, we drove out to the far side of the peninsula, and made it to the beach in time for sunset.

After a comfy night at the Manitou Lodge, with a fire place in our room, I got up for sunrise, which was beautiful. Then it was back to the lodge for breakfast and back to the beach with Heather. We hiked up the beach to Hole in the Wall, which should become fairly self evident if you scroll down and check out the pictures.

We hung out there for a while and waited for the tide to go down so we could do some tide pooling. We saw all sorts of cool stuff - starfish, anemones, shrimp, fish, crabs, strange bugs, and lots more. I spent a while trying to catch the fish, but it never worked.

So I can't promise that these are at all artistic, but I hope you find a few you like.
