Day 7 was the last day of the cruise, and we spent most of the day at sea. But in the early evening we docked in Victoria, British Columbia. A few of us, including Dad, Karen, Jamie, Lynda, Cameron and Kyra, headed out on a sunset whale watch hoping to see Orcas.
There was lots of cool stuff to check out in the harbor on the way out, including a neat houseboat community, lots of sweet sailboats, a Canadian Coast Guard ship, and several lighthouses.
Once out, our Captain found a large pod of whales, including several juveniles, that we got to watch for quite a long time. They were weonderful, and a lot of fun to see. There were a couple other boats nearby wathcing the whales, too.
But soon it was getting dark, and our cruise ship was getting ready to leave, so we motored back toward the harbor and enjoyed our last beautiful sunset at sea.
As always, thanks for looking.
