Visitor number two made it to Seattle not too long ago. Karen was in town on her way to the Golden Retrievers National Championship in Squammish, just north of Seattle. Along with 900+ dogs, Jim and I kept her company for part of the Best of Breed competition on a Sunday afternoon. The sun finally came out and we were all able to dry out and defrost. Sadly for Karen, we only had time for the diet coke, and didn't get to take her out for the full dining and drinking rounds. There's always next time!
