We made it to Seattle and this is our neighborhood at sunset. Jim and I were out for a quick kayak in the canal. The houseboat is nestled in among the sea of boat masts on the far side. The Ballard Bridge is apparently the most frequently opened drawbridge in the U.S. since is has just 30ft. clearance and there are a lot of really big fishing boats that dock in the canal.
