September is off to a flying start! Jim and I headed out to Colorado for my little sisters big wedding. The event was held up in the mountains at the Columbine Cabins, about 45 minutes outside of Steamboat. We have so many pictures it will take a while to get the official page up so I thought I'd give you a hint of the pre-wedding excitement.

Ember and I headed into Steamboat to be beautified and of course, the best lady brought her camera. So, above are pictures of Ember in the 'before' phase.

Below: Last but not least, Ember had a little bit of makeup done to ensure that healthy, happy glow survived the whole wedding.

At left: The 'during' phase involved stacking all those curls up high, one bobby-pin at a time. This may be the only time Ember sat still all day!

Below: The finishing touch to the wedding 'do was solidifying the curls and the ribbon with super-hair spray. We didn't want those curls to fall off when Ember hit the dance floorin the evening!
