To fend off the photo-loving crowd just a little bit longer, I'm posting a few pictures from the start of the Seattle to Portland (STP) bike ride. There are many more to come - I'm just swimming in photos of identical looking bikers, but this is what it looked like at the very beginning. Jim was up and ready to head out the door at 5:30 in the am. Here is is checking out the world to decide if he needs any more layers before heading off to the starting line. Notice those impressive calf muscles!
