It's well into 2009 but not too late to celebrate a fun evening with the Downars!

This year was the second annual Downar Family New Years Eve with the Monarchs. We went to a hockey game with the local minor league team, the Manchester Monarchs vs. the Providence Bruins. Karen and Jim got us great seats right on the edge of the balcony. You can see them below enjoying the hockey drama.

It was a pretty exciting game, with multiple fights and multiple goals followed by indoor fireworks. Below I've posted a picture of the smoke filling the arena after the fireworks ended. The most impressive part of the whole night may be that we weren't asphyxiated. I can't wait until next year!
