Here are a few images from a quick trip out to the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. We were hoping to see lots of cool migrating birds. Apparently it wasn't a good day for birds. We saw a few Widgeons, a Blue Heron and a Bald Eagle, but they were all pretty far away. So while there wasn't much in the way of wildlife, it was still a nice walk on the beach. We originally hoped to make it out to the lighthouse at the end of the spit, but it's 5 miles out, and we didn't get an early enough start. We only made it about half-way out before having to turn around, as the park closes at sunset. We'll have to get going earlier next time, or go in the summer when sunset comes later than 4:45 pm.

As always, thanks for taking the time to look.
