Southern Illinois

In April, we made it back down to Jackson Falls a couple times. The first weekend in April it was just Heather and I, and it was really hot and humid, and a little rainy, so everything was really wet, and hard to motivate to climb. So we took lots of pictures of bugs and flowers and other interesting stuff.

Two weeks later, Cheryl and Katherine joined us for the weekend and it was crazy cold, but raining again. Luckily the rain ended pretty early, so after a late morning drive into Goreville for breakfast, we made it out climbing.

It's way easier taking climbing pictures if there are more than two people, as there is someone to belay while you're off taking pictures. so all the climbing pictures are from the second weekend.
